We got home last evening after a wonderful three week vacation in France. It is a trip that Terry and I had been talking about doing for years, but the time never seemed right. We finally woke up and realized that just like the time may never seem perfect to start building an aircraft, you eventually need to just do it. So, about six months ago we picked the dates, and started planning the trip. It was a great trip. It is going to be a shock not to have a bottle of wine every night with dinner.I took today off work, to allow a bit of jet lag recovery. I had hoped to get an RV-8 flight today, but the weather is not good at all. I may be back on the road again next week, so hopefully I can get a couple of test flights done this weekend.
