Ariel Arielly

While I was in Israel in Feb 99, I visited Ariel Arielly, an RV-8A builder. He has lots of room to build in a corner of a small aircraft parts factory, but it is not very close to his house, so he can only work on the weekends.

The big advantage he has is that the company where he has his workshop is a subcontractor to IAI, an aircraft manufacturer. This company has a paint shop 20 feet from Ariel's workshop, and they paint all his parts for him! I am really jealous, because the painting is the part I like the least.

I had a great dinner with Ariel and his family, and then he took me a tour of Tel Aviv and the old port of Jaffo. Thanks Ariel!
